Earn 20% of what your clients pay, for a whole year

If you build websites, apps or campaigns for other people, you are already deciding which tools they use. This programme pays you for that decision: 20% of every subscription, every month, for each client's first twelve months. And your code does not turn up empty-handed: it gives your client 10% off their first three months.

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

20%

Of every payment, every month

The commission is calculated on the plan fee excluding VAT, and it repeats every month for as long as your referral keeps paying. It is not a one-off signup bounty.

12

Months per client

The clock starts with your referral's first payment and runs for twelve months. If they move up a plan along the way, your commission grows with them and the clock does not reset.

30

Days before it counts

A commission is earned once your referral has been paying for thirty days and their first invoice has not been refunded. That is what stops us paying for signups that fall through in a week.

1

Payout a month

We send you the breakdown of what you have earned, you invoice us, and we pay by bank transfer. From €50 accrued: anything below that rolls over to the following month.

What that is in euros

Using the prices we actually charge today, not a rounded example. The right-hand column is what you take home in total from a client who stays the full year, with the discount on their first three invoices already accounted for.

Your referral's planWhat they pay monthlyYour monthly commissionOver 12 months
Basic, 6 accounts€15€3€35.10
Pro, 10 accounts€30€6€70.20
Custom, 15 accounts€45€9€105.30
Custom, 20 accounts€60€12€140.40
Custom, 100 accounts€225€45€526.50

The monthly commission is 20% of the plan fee; for the first three months your client pays 10% less thanks to your code, so your commission for those months is 10% lower too — that is 11.7 payments a year rather than 12, and the last column already reflects it. These amounts exclude VAT and exclude AI and X credits, which are outside the commission base. The free plan earns no commission because it pays nothing. The prices in this table are the ones on the pricing page

How it works, from applying to getting paid

  1. 1

    You apply

Tell us what you do and where you would recommend us. We ask for no minimum traffic and no audience size: we ask that it is clear where the client is going to come from.

  2. 2

    We approve by hand

We reply within five working days. If we approve you, we give you your code and your links, and we tell you what tends to work for the kind of client you have.

  3. 3

Your client uses your code and saves 10%

The code is entered at checkout, and it takes 10% off their first three invoices. From that moment the subscription is tied to you for as long as it lasts, with nothing else for you to do.

  4. 4

    You get paid monthly

Once a month we send you the breakdown of what you have earned, you invoice us, and we pay by bank transfer.

Attribution is the code, not a cookie: there is no thirty-day window and no last click, and if your client subscribes without entering it, that sale cannot be recovered afterwards. That is what the 10% is for: it gives them a reason to type it. Selling a discount is far easier than asking a favour, so the discount is your tool and not decoration — and it is what lets us run the programme without paying €40-90 a month for an affiliate platform.

Who this fits

This is not a programme for coupon hunters. It works when you are already inside somebody else's technical decision.

Agencies and software studios

If you build your clients' websites or apps, social media lands on your desk anyway. This turns a recommendation you already make for free into a recurring line in your accounts.

Vertical SaaS and consultancies

A property, gym or clinic management tool whose customers keep asking to post on social media. You can recommend us today and, if you ever want to integrate us properly, the API is on every plan.

People who write for developers

Newsletters, tutorials, API comparisons, technical videos. We have public documentation, Node and Python libraries and an MCP server: there is real material to show, not just a signup screen.

Clients who already use us

You can be an affiliate and a customer at the same time, and that is the most common case: you recommend something you use every day. What you cannot do is apply your own code to yourself.

The terms, with nothing hidden in the small print

They are all here, and they are the ones we apply. If any of them changes, anyone already signed up is told before it affects them.

  • Your code gives your referral 10% off their first three invoices. It applies to the plan fee, not to credits, and it does not stack with another promotion: Stripe applies one code per subscription.
  • Commission base: 20% of the recurring plan fee, excluding VAT, on what your referral actually pays. During the three discounted months they pay 10% less, so your commission for those months is 10% lower too.
  • AI and X credits are excluded. This is not an arbitrary exception: credits are sold close to cost, because what we charge for them goes to the AI provider, so there is no margin there to pay a commission out of.
  • Twelve months per referral, counted from their first payment. If they cancel and come back later, a new cycle does not start.
  • Payouts start at €50 accrued. Anything below that carries over to the following month; it is not lost.
  • We pay against an invoice. You need to be able to invoice us as a company or as a sole trader; without an invoice we cannot pay, and that is not a preference of ours.
  • Taxes go on your invoice as they apply to you: VAT, or the reverse charge if you are in the EU with a valid VAT number, and income tax withholding if you are an individual resident in Spain.
  • Self-referrals are not paid: your own account, your companies' accounts, or those of people who work with you.
  • You may not bid on our brand in ads. Buying "PlanVortex" on Google makes us compete against ourselves and charges us a commission on top, for a client who was already coming.
  • No coupon or discount sites. The code is for your clients, not for code aggregators.
  • We do not pay for someone who was already a customer or already talking to us. If there is any doubt about who got there first, we check the date and show you.
  • A refund or a failed payment cancels that month's commission. If the charge is recovered, the commission comes back.

None of this replaces the terms of service, which are what governs the relationship with the client you bring: read the terms of use

What this programme does not have yet

We would rather say it before you sign up and find out on your own. None of it stops you getting paid: they are conveniences that are not built yet.

No real-time dashboard

The earnings report reaches you by email once a month, broken down by client. You cannot check it whenever you feel like it.

No attribution cookies

The code and nothing else. Someone who arrives through your link and subscribes two weeks later without entering it is not recorded as yours.

Payment is not automatic

It is one bank transfer a month against your invoice, not a payout that fires by itself when you cross a threshold.

All three arrive with a proper affiliate platform, and that gets paid for when there are three active affiliates or the first attributed sale, whichever comes first. We would rather have the programme open and manual today than closed and perfect a year from now.

Frequently asked questions

How much do you earn for recommending PlanVortex?

20% of whatever your referral pays, every month, for their first twelve months. A client on the Pro plan is €6 a month and €70.20 over the year — for the first three months they pay 10% less thanks to your code, so it is 11.7 payments rather than 12; a Custom client with 20 accounts is €12 a month and €140.40 over the year.

Do you need an audience or a minimum amount of traffic?

No. Applications are approved by hand and what we look at is whether it is clear where the client will come from. An agency with four clients fits better than an account with fifty thousand followers who do not buy software.

How do you know the client came from me?

From your code, which your client enters at checkout. We do not use cookies or attribution windows, so if they do not enter it, the sale is not tied to you and it cannot be corrected afterwards.

When and how do you get paid?

Once a month. We send you the breakdown of what you have earned, you invoice us, and we pay by bank transfer from €50 accrued. You need to be able to invoice as a company or as a sole trader.

Can you be an affiliate if you are already a PlanVortex customer?

Yes, and that is the most common case. The only thing that does not count is applying your own code to yourself or using it on accounts belonging to your own companies.

Can you recommend the free plan?

Yes, and it is often the best way in: three accounts free, no card, API included. What earns no commission is the free plan itself, because it pays nothing; if that client moves to a paid plan, that is when your year starts.

Is there a referral programme for customers who bring other customers?

Not yet. It is designed around credits rather than money, so that no paperwork gets in the way, but it is not built. Until it exists, a customer who brings another customer can join this programme like any other affiliate.

Does my client get anything for using my code?

Yes: 10% off their first three invoices. That is deliberate, and it is what makes the programme work — since attribution is the code and not a cookie, your client has to type it, and they type it if they get something. You can say it plainly: it is a real discount, not a coupon that turns out not to apply.

Apply to join

Tell us what you do and where you would recommend us. We reply within five working days, and if you are not a fit we tell you why. When we approve you, we hand you your code with the 10% already set up.

I want to be an affiliate

Would you rather integrate us than recommend us?

The API is on all four plans, the free one included, with Node and Python libraries, an MCP server and the whole documentation public. You can do both.
